Branding

Apache projects must use the “Apache” name in their primary branding, and are required to follow certain branding and trademark rules. Ensuring that consumers understand which products come from official Apache projects is important to meet user expectations, and to make sure that Apache software users know they will be welcomed to participate if they choose to contribute code or other work back to the project.
